Saint Alphonsa is a name highly honoured, appreciated and called for at time of need. She was a simple nun of the Franciscan Clarist Congregation at Bharananganam born, lived and died in the aroma of sanctity in the first half of the 20th Century. She was beatified on 8th February 1986 and canonized on 12th October 2008. People from different parts of the world come and visit her tomb at Bharananganam and pray for her intercession.

       The opening of the website is a humble attempt to make St. Alphonsa known to people who are far away and are interested in her. We hope thousands of people will make use of it and can be in touch with the saint and her earthly home regularly in the days to come. We pray that all who seek her intercessory power may be fully answered.
