St. Alphonsa Miracles

1.	Jomet Thomas – 4 ½ Yrs Vathalloor Kuttikanam. The child’s eyesight became lesser and lesser and he became totally blind. Doctors from Mundakayam Medical Trust, Kottayam Medical College and Little Flower Hospital, Angamaly said that he cannot be cured and he may remain life long blind. We took the child to the tomb of Blessed Alphonsa on the last Friday of October 2007 and prayed there and in her room in the F.C. Convent, Bhm. In the same evening at home he cried out ‘I can see now everything.’

2.	Deepu Baby Karimpaniyil House Kodiveli P.O. Kodikulam. There were some ulcers on both of my legs, not cured with conventional treatments since 2 – 3 years. I came to Bl. Alphonsa’s tomb, prayed and through her intercession the ulcers had been cured completely. I am testifying this miraculous cure on 20 – 12 – 2007

3.	Krishnapriya (Princy) Lalithalayam &; K.S.E.B. Nagar, House No. 60 Kavanad P.O., Kollam. Through the intercession of Blessed Alphonsa I could pass + 2 Exam and I got admission for General Nursing unexpectedly at Benziger Hospital, Kollam. I thank Bl. 4.	Mercy Babu Kunnumpurath Mundakayam. Since two months I felt a lump in my breast. I came and prayed at the tomb of St. Alphonsa and I have been cured completely. Now there is no lump. 5.	Reeja Thomas Kozhikottu House Kadanadu Kavumkandam. The child had Encephalitis. He was able to walk due to weakness in legs and was under treatment at Amritha Hospital, Ernakulam in medical ICU. Doctors said that the child might be put on Ventilator. Even then the child may not be rescued, the cure is in the Hand of God, they said. 7.	Anup C. Joseph & Dalia Anup Kochuchennadu Kanchiyar. Six years have been passed after our married life without a single issue. We came to Bhm, prayed at the tomb of St. Alphonsa and in her room in the F.C. Convent and drank water with the sand taken from her tomb fervently. 8.	James K. Joseph Kompanathottathil House Thodupuzha, Idukki Dt. On 3 – 10 – 2008 we 5 people visited and prayed at the tomb of St. Alphonsa. On the way back at Manathoor we had a terrible road accident. By the Grace of God and intercession of St. Alphonsa we have been miraculously rescued without any injury. 9.	Princy Augustine Kuttipurathu House Vazhoor East P.O. Vazhoor. I have been suffering from psoriasis for 10 years. After praying here at the tomb of St. Alphonsa I have been completely cured. A thousand thanks to St. Alphonsa. 13 – 06 – 2009 Princy.

10.	Salimma Somy Manimalakunnel Palachira Kaduthuruthy. I am a heart patient. I am suffering from the heart disease called “Cardiomyopathy” which causes severe chest pain and suffocation. After praying to St. Alphonsa, I drank water in which sand from the saint’s tomb has been put and I felt relief in chest pain and suffocation. 11.	Revi Mattathil &Nadackal P.O. Erattupetta. I had congenital deformity on both of my lower limbs. They were bent to the front of my body and neatly attached to the lower part of my abdomen. My parents brought me to Bhm and laid me on the tomb of Blessed Alphonsa at the age of 5 years. After that I got cured and I can walk. Now I am working as Elephant papan. I believe that all these happened by the Grace of God and through the intercession of St. Alphonsa and I thank her. 24 – 01 – 2009 Revi.

12.	Jojo Mendez Valiaparambil House Puthuparambu Chalakudy. From the age of one year my daughter Jesna had frequent convulsions. She had treatment from different doctors until the age of 3 years. With no effect. Then we sought the intercession of St. Alphonsa and we brought the child and laid her on the tomb and prayed & offered the child to St. Alphonsa. The sand from the tomb we got from the F.C. Convent Bhm is put into some drinking water and gave it to the child to drink, praying to St. Alphonsa. After that she has no convulsions till now. 13.	Mariakutty Varkey Marykulam Madathil Ayappankovil. I had a spine injury after a fall and I was bed bound with a belt around. I had been praying to St. Alphonsa on the day of her canonization (Oct. 12. 2008). At about 3 pm. A strong light hit on my back and I felt a bind of cooling smoothness’ in my body. All on a sudden I stood up began to walk without any help. I was miraculously cured. From that time onwards I could do everything I need. Through St. Alphonsa God blessed me and healed me. 14.	Sheena M.K. Moumpurathu House Nellimattom P.O. Kothamangalam. Many thanks to St. Alphonsa. I was suffering from Dengue fever in 2002, which became severe & I was put in ICU. Doctors said, no cure is possible. My family prayed fervently to St. Alphonsa and I had been cured completely through the intercession of St. Alphonsa. 15.	Anma Jomon Mannathikunnel House & Oliappuram P.O. Nadakavu I am now 14 years and studying in 9th Std at SHGHs, Bhm & I am an inmate of St. Joseph’s Boarding, Bhm. I have been suffering from Asthma from childhood and I was using inhaler twice a day and tablets. I was very anxious to be cured. So I sought the intercession of St. Alphonsa, came often to her room, prayed walked on my knees around her lying statue. One morning I took water in which the soil from St. Alphonsa’s tomb was added, and I came to her room prayed at the cot and standing statue, poured melted wax on my hands as offer. After that I walked on my knees around the lying statue of St. Alphonsa many times. I looked on her and I felt that she has taken my breathing difficulty for herself. She was taking breath with difficulty as if she has asthma. At the same time I was cured of my illness. From that time onwards I need no medicines & I am cured miraculously.
